Hi all, I have a layercake with different horizons which are available as grids. I would like to extract a 2D section (where I define two points) from the cake where the horizons from the layercake will be projected on. Is that possible with a straight forward method in GMT? I did on my own extracting points from the grid with grdtrack and plotted polygons with psxy. However I had to deal with topology problems. The layercake consists of top layers, so I had to take care by hand which is the base of the layer to define the complete polygon. This has quite unhandy and not easy to adapt for new geometries. So, I'm looking for something easier. I'm also happy about ideas to make this an easy task, if GMT can't do it. :) best regards Nils -- ************************************************************************ Dr. Nils Holzrichter, Dipl.-Geophys.
