 I just tried Nila's fix and it does compile. Anna's does not.
 Unfortunately, even though the first fix compiles successfully, the GRASS
 GUI will not launch. Here is the error:

 I'm using OSX Mojave 10.14.6 with python 3.7.6

 v.in.pdal also does not compile. But that is another issue.
