Re: [EXTERNAL] Re: r.external cache or add overviews?

I ask because I have created a 55 billion pixel vrt of elevation data. I linked it to a GRASS mapset . It did take an hour to link , but the zooming and panning is reasonably responsive afterwards.

I don't think so.
