Thanks Cameron, Roger and all for sharing this email. A note on
terminology: the "hub transformation technique" described by Roger is
also named "early-binding" in EPSG guidance notes. The better technique,
now implemented by PROJ 6, is named "late-binding" in guidance notes. I
mention that because we used the "early/late-binding" terminology in
past discussions.
