All,
This is a reminder that we are getting close to the release of PROJ 7.0.0 o=
n March 1st.
Since this is a major version release I plan to put out a release candidate=
earlier than
usual. I am aiming towards a release of 7.0.0RC1 on February 15. As a conse=
quence,
you need to make sure that code you want in PROJ 7 is merged within the nex=
t month.
Most prominently we have the code related to RFC4. Luckily most of this is =
already done
by Even, however the pull requests that currently are open could use a roun=
d or two of
review. I plan to go through all of the PR's but I don't expect to be able =
to give thorough
reviews as I am not particularly familiar with either TIFF-files, the netwo=
rking features or
CDN's. So please review the code if you are familiar with these subjects.
In addition to the RFC4 work there is also a few other things that need doi=
ng before
PROJ 7. The 7.0.0-milestone on GitHub [0] has those covered. Some of the is=
sues are
already assigned to someone and the remaining ones should be dealt with by =
the original
author of the issue.
/Kristian
