Hi all,

Geary 3.32 has been released. This is a feature release, primarily
aiming to align Geary's interface better with GNOME 3.32: Geary has a
new icon, the application menu has been moved to a burger menu in the
main window, sender images in conversations are now taken from the the
desktop address-book, and those without a custom photo are given a
personalised image with initials and background colour based on their
name. This release also comes with a number of bug fixes, server
compatibility improvements, and translations updates.

Also, as you may have noticed from the new version number, this is the
first Geary release in line with the GNOME release schedule. From now
on, we will be looking to put out six-monthly feature releases along
with GNOME, including both odd-numbered unstable releases, and followed
up by bug-fix point releases. This will get new features into people's
hands faster, and hopefully reduce the amount of disruption seen with
the release of 0.13, caused by the long gap between releases.

This latest version is now available for installation from Flathub. See
the Geary web site for installation details and other installation
options: https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Geary

Packagers, please note Geary now depends on Folks to build. See
meson.build for details. Further, we recommend installing
evolution-data-server for address-book storage and GNOME Contacts for
address-book management.

Enjoy!
