When I right-click on an image and select "Open with image viewer", the viewer (EOG) always opens with the top of the window at the top of my desktop and the bottom below the bottom of the desktop. This is very annoying as I have to manually resize the viewer so I can make it's entire window fit the height of my desktop. I've gone into gnome configuration editor and there is no setting that I can tweak to prevent that from happening. Furthermore, when I uncheck "Best fit", close the image view and reopen it, "Best fit" has the checkmark beside it again. I hope you have the time to reply to my email and that you can provide me with some insight as to the solution of these problems.
