Welcome to the list--I'm glad to see that you're trying out Balsa--hope you=
 like it!

Yes, if you move the pointer over the header area that contains those label=
s, you'll see it become a resize cursor when it's over one of the (barely v=
isible) separators. You can then drag the separator to resize the column to=
 its left. The columns to its right move accordingly, so you might need to =
make a few adjustments to get all the columns the way you want them. The co=
lumn widths are saved between sessions.
