Great!

IMO the long term solution is to ask Redhat to do the packaging for you.
After all, several other unix-lookalike-vendors (Debian, Gentoo,
FreeBSD, OpenBSD) already do, so why not Redhat?

File a feature request at http://bugzilla.redhat.com; the worst thing
that could happen is they turn you down.
