Upgrading gkrellmwho2 to work with gkrellmd is something I had thought a good idea and I finally did something about it. I'm just now running this by Alexander (gkrellmwho2 author), so it's not a real release, but if you want to try what I did, there's a tarball: http://members.dslextreme.com/users/billw/test/gkrellmwho2-0.2.8-patched.tar.bz2 The server plugin will need glib 2.0 and if you want to install only the gkrellmd component, you can do a "make install-server" on the server. Look at the INSTALL file and you can also run "make help". On the server, you'll need to add a line to a gkrellmd.conf file: plugin-enable gkrellmwho2d and then restart gkrellmd. And a new gkrellmwho2 gkrellm plugin from this tarball needs to be installed on your client machine. Alexander, I had to reorganize some code to deal with some new files needed for the server part and a patch for this got to be quite large, so I'm just putting up a patched tarball to make it simpler. I hope you can look this over and fix anything you don't like and use it for a new gkrellmwho2 release. If you aren't subscribed to the gkrellm mailing list, just send me a private email about anything.
