Mail check quit working

This is odd. I haven't chenged anything in gkrellm but for some reason it stopped notifying me when mail comes in. I checked the mail config setup and everything is configured properly but there is no longer any notification. One thing I did do is turned off the Linux biff notifier. Does gkrellm depend on biff to work? Thanks -- LINUX is simple.
