Hi Bill,

hddtemp -D gave me this;

Model: MAXTOR STM3320620AS

field(1) = 96
field(3) = 0
field(4) = 9
field(5) = 1
field(7) = 84
field(9) = 48
field(10) = 0
field(12) = 11
field(187) = 0
field(189) = 0
field(190) = 29
field(194) = 29
field(195) = 113
field(197) = 0
field(198) = 0
field(199) = 0
field(200) = 0
field(202) = 0

I edited the data hddtemp.db database and have gkrllm reporting the 29
that's in field 190. I also e-mailed Maxtor and asked them to tell mw
exactly which field has the proper number. Now all I have to do is find
out who looks after the k8temp driver and see if I can get the fan info
and all will be well!!

Whatever info I get I'll pass on to you. I'll also let the guy that
maintains hddtemp know the entry for the database.

Thanks for all the help
