just did that. comes up ok and everything is fine as long as i dont run the 
config to edit any part of it even in builtins. once i do, the setdevname 
vanishes from bass treble and wave. on a restart of gkrellm, the original 
default names are back and are default. which means every time i use the 
config it will change them. thankfully i dont do that much, but there is a 
problem somewhere.
