I'm very sure this is not the normal behavior since I have the battery
display enabled and I'm not experiencing this... I was using it with the
kernels 2.6.18, 2.6.21 and right now with the 2.6.22 and don't have that
kind of problems... Maybe something with your acpi?? Which is your
notebook? What distro are you using?
