Now, at one point, before libata took over, I had the ability to monitor drive temps too, but now that libata is calling everything a scsi drive, I don't have that option available now. The drives are all smart capable, and smartctl can watch them, and smartd is spamming the logs with temp info thats a bit useless for my boot drive, its reporting in F when it should be C. So that drive is saying its running at well over the boiling point of water when in fact its fan cooled and essentially at room temps + 10F according to my fingers touching it. Will this be restored at some point, or do I need to install another daemon of some sort now?
