Re: odd problem - random 2nd copy launches by itself

it failed :( took longer but it did still create a 2nd process with the same sm-client-id.
i have a feeling it has something to do with sticky state and this abominable pager they 
now use.

i am now trying it without the sticky state set. the problem may have to do with the 
stupid pager kde4 supplies. it is one of the worst pieces of software i have ever seen. i 
am going to research to see if the kde3.5 pager will work on this. the kde4 pager has 
options to click on the already selected desktop to 'reveal' the desktop and other junk 
that is useless in a pager.

if this works then the last part of my test will be to re-enable sticky state and use the 
mouse wheel to switch desktops eliminating the pager to see if that keeps things sane.
