uk/absoluteclassicrock.ogg=C2=A0 however when trying to add the playlist
noted in my original post I get:

xmms2> add -P live.pls
Server error: We can't handle this type of playlist or URL

I made an error in my first post. The link I provided in the playlist
doesn't open in Audacious however the one noted above does.=C2=A0

Listen to a shoutcast stream (assuming curl plugin is installed) using
the direct url (ie NOT a playlist file, but the url inside the playlist
file, the playlist importing code is currently disabled). If you don't
require a proxy, skip the "config" lines:

xmms2 server config curl.proxyaddress
your.proxy.address.com:1080=C2=A0=C2=A0xmms2 server config curl.useproxy 1=
=C2=A0=C2=A0
xmms2 add http://207.200.96.225:8020=C2=A0=C2=A0xmms2 play

I converted the URL to an IP and added the icecast port

So, I entered xmms2> add http://34.244.146.50:443=C2=A0then xmms2 play

still no joy. On a good note I can add tracks from my ~/Music folder
