I've never messed with Ruby - anyway, here is the output of the
command. I added the -d (debug) option

/usr/bin/ruby -d -rrbconfig -e "puts Config::CONFIG['archdir']"

I have several rbconfig (no RbConfig:

/usr/lib/ruby/2.3.0/rbconfig

I have the below but no rubygems/defaults/ruby

/usr/lib/ruby/2.3.0/rubygems/defaults.rb
/usr/lib/ruby/vendor_ruby/rubygems/defaults

Line 1251 of

/usr/lib/ruby/2.3.0/rubygems.rb:1251
require "rubygems/defaults/#{RUBY_ENGINE}"

My brain is so warped at the moment not sure whether I'm coming or
