gkrellm reconnects

Hi,

being a happy gkrellm camper since more than 15 years now, thank you all for 
this nice product.

The one thing that bugs me is mostly, automatically reconnecting to a 
restarted gkrellmd server process doesn't work here. Using 2.3.10, Is that 
even supposed to work properly? 

Restarting gkrellm -s ... isn't a big deal, but restarted gkrellms appear in 
the X window list, hence alt-tabbing is affected (although taskbar and pager 
window flags are enabled, of course). When gkrellms are started from X server 
session management, that doesn't happen. I understand, that the cooperation of 
X clients, X server, and window manager in this area is mine field. Therefor I 
would love to see gkrellm's reconnection to server processes to work properly.

Reproducing is easy here: run gkrellm -s server, go to server and restart 
gkrellmd, watch the red lamp behind the gkrellm host name to never disappear 
again (not even in days..).

I've applied 298adf47b from git master already, but no luck either.
