I'm running Fedora 29 and using Mate/Compiz as my desktop and window manager. When I login, I autostart a gkrellm window. Having six workspaces, I would like to see the monitor on each of the workspaces. I have do that setting manually with the mouse on the task bar tab. I've been trying to change the setting of "window state" to "sticky" using xprop or xwininfo or ... No success. But they do report the manual change. Has anyone tried to change the state with a command line tool and succeeded? Jon -- Jon H. LaBadie [email protected] 11226 South Shore Rd. (703) 787-0688 (H) Reston, VA 20190 (703) 935-6720 (C)
