But as a rule they do not, so ....... this is a reason to export reports 
so that they could be annotated for each exception. Then no questions 
like "why is the annual meeting net expense so low this year?" because 
you annotated "invoiced for printing and postage costs not included 
because printer has not yet sent an invoice".

In my years of experience as treasurer, several organizations, rare was 
the report that had NO annotations. And I might want to have certain 
levels different fonts/boldness. Silly to ask gnucash developers to 
"include editing capability" when plenty of perfectly powerful editors 
already exist.
