I don't recall which version it changed in (anyone else?) but you should 
also check the setting mentioned in Adrien's message which can be found in

Edit / Preferences / Business / Accumulate splits on post

is yours ticked / checked or not?  Adrien or someone else that actively 
uses the Business functions will be better able to help with the 
consequences of changing that.

What OS are you on and how did you upgrade last time that resulted in a 
mess?  I'm sure someone will help you with upgrading cleanly regardless.
