Menu and toolbars open by default

Hello,
When opening Gnumeric, the four bars appear. But as my screen is a squared
12'', the bars fill almost one third of the screen's heigh. So I have to
hide them manually every time I open Gnumeric.

Is it possible to configure it in a way that, at every opening, only one is
displayed (data entry area, for example).
