Hi Andreas, thanks for your quick reply :) ! I got a try entering 01/03/2018 in a first cell A1; and aftwds defining a range A1:A12; then Menu/Data/Fill/Series > Thumbnail Series > Series in: Row > Type: date > Start value: 01/03/2018 > Step value: her have tried values as 30, 31 > Stop Value: 31/12/2018 > Thumbnail Options > Date Unith: Month > > Thumbnail Output > Output range: Sheet1!A1:A12 In that dialog box, as the «OK» key is displayed as active, it lets let suppose values in the fields are recognized as valid. This did not work though. I have found a tutorial along the following link: http://www.madonnadeipoveri.org/opt/gnome/share/gnome/help/gnumeric/C/autofill.html but could not reproduce the steps according to figures 1-18 to 1-20 in the paragraph «Filling with Dates» Thanks for any further advice Best regards Charlie On Mon, 12 Mar 2018 13:35:36 -0600, aguelzow wrote: > Hi, > Jan and Dec are not dates.
