Re: how to fill a range of cells by a date-type serie?

Here running gnumeric-1.10.17 on Puppy Linux Stretch (Debian 9 distro 
based - was also the case on earlier distros as Debian 7 based)

Autofill is locales dependent for dates, at least for the method 
described by Pere and Bill («...put the pointer in the bottom right 
corner of the selection, a thin cross should appear, click and drag down 
and you are done, the names of the 12 moths will appear in series...»).
It works for en_US, catalan locale; but not for fr_BE nor fr_FR.

My locale is fr_BE.
Pere's method did not work for fr-BE locale; nor after switching to 
fr_FR locale.

Further verifying, I then switched the locales setting to en_US.
So Pere's method works for en_US provided the months are written in 
english !

But second method described by Bill (using the Menu/Data/Fill/Series 
dialog box) works here for fr_BE.
