Summing without Hidden cells' content

Hi all,

As a first post,

Can someone please explain how i can sum the content of a column of 
cells without including values of hidden cells ?

The column is auto filtered to hide some not applicable values. 
Currently =sum() includes all the values in the column.

Perhaps I'm missing a trick ?
