I have just committed code to sourceforge CVS that contains this patch. There are several changes to the handling of raw files: - Each manufacturer now has their own set of format_???.[ch] files. - Adding a format is now done through a #define in format_????.h and referencing the define from format_raw.c - The file descriptor based parser is now a wrapper around the memory based parser. It mmaps the file into memory before calling the memory based parser. I also removed the file descriptor code from the canon parser as it is no longer needed - it works with my sample crw file but cr2 is not tested. Does the crw sample you provided earlier contain EXIF data? it does not display EXIF for me, perhaps I broke something?
