Well, I think that I understand which are the goals of gqview: to watch
photos :-) . Last easter I started (not published) a program to do some
operations with photos. I thought to develop using gqview, but I prefer that
gqview is what is really good for: watch photos (and manage) :-) not
other things...

Anyway, if you can check my patch :-) i use it often and should be
fantastic to have it in mainstream. I take lot of photos and watch it,
selecting photos in gqview then I use "Copy photo path" so i
can mv, cp (even tar, scp, etc.) (i know that i can use gqview for some
operations, but not for all of them).

Maybe the problem of the patch is that i don't know gtk, so maybe is not
very good...

ok perfect! maybe debian maintainer will have time to include new release,
as new debian release has been delayed a bit :-)
