Stopping external editor

Hello again, When using the %v/%V params in the editor config, gqview opens a console binded to stdout, and maybe stderr (BTW, the editor output needs to be flushed after each print). With internal tools, the Stop button is active, but not with external editors. Could it be possible to have it active, and send a signal to the editor? SIGINT, for example... if the %p param is used, it should also stop launching editor on remaining files...
