Translation related questions

Hello !

1.
Is "Preview" used as a noun or a verb in the following message(s) ?

>
> #: src/utilops.c:1945 src/utilops.c:2038
> msgid "Preview"

If it is used as a noun in one place and as a verb in the other I must
ask if it is possible to make the strings differ (perhaps a colon could be
if it is used as a noun). The reason I request this is that "preview" is
translated differently to Swedish depending on if it is a noun or a verb.


2.
I'm a bit confused about the when to use "folder" and when to use
"directory", but the examples below seem a bit unconsistent to me:

Pressing the text:

> #: src/layout_util.c:701
> msgid "/File/N_ew folder..."
>
Makes a dialog appear with the text:

>
> #: src/utilops.c:2258
> #, c-format
> msgid ""
> "Create directory in:\n"
> "%s\n"
> "named:"


In the preferences window, "General" tab:

> msgid "Initial directory"

> #: src/preferences.c:887
> msgid "On startup, change to this directory:"

Preferences window, "Advanced" tab:

> #: src/preferences.c:1299
> msgid "Folder:"


When poking around to see if some convention existed in this
