full-screen at start-up and animated gif: feature request

Hi,

The title well condenses the request. :-)
These features are important for work with the images for html (it makes easy 
the "eye"-exploring of data base).
About animated gif: could it be possible to use the gpl application "gifsicle" 
directly from GQview?
