gqview hangs on OS X when rotating images

hi John,

I have been using gqview under OS X for some time. I just recently
noticed that it hangs when a photo is to be rotated. 

The image is rotated, but the GUI of gqview stays frozen, until the
application is killed. This happens when one or more images are
selected.

I looked at the code trying to debug it. command pipe returns
properly. It seems to be hang in gtk_main

Any ideas on why it might be hanging?
