I am not seeing this, Ctrl-mouse-click works fine here with gtk 2.2.4. Is this broken for you everywhere, or just one place? (check main window list/icon views, collection window, and find dupes window). If your mouse has a middle mouse button, that will now also work in the same way as ctrl-left-button does.
