You can change the location of the full screen window in the preferences 
window (edit menu -> preferences, or CTRL+O). Under the 'Advanced' tab 
there is a section for full screen behavior.

By default GQview lets the window manager position the full screen window 
('Determined by Window Manager'). If the window manager is getting the 
placement wrong, you can set the 'Location' option to be the same screen as 
the main window, or a specific screen.
