I'm coding a map viewer in gtk. Right now it's pretty lame as it only allows to move very slow in the map. I'd like the gqview image visualization widget to be usable in my application. I'd like it to be tile based with a cache (memory and disk). This way I could pan the image and when there's a need to display a tile it queries the database. Just being able to use the gqview image visualization widget instead of: http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/2.0/gtk/GtkImage.html with http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/2.0/gdk-pixbuf/index.html would be a good start. Anyone knows a solution? ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
