oh, thats really good news:-)
i didnt realise this had been fixed. For that reason (list view multiple
selections), i had been using a very old verion of Gqview with the
old list widget. I have been trying new versions but always went
back to my favourite 1.3.5, and it seems Gqview has changed more than
i realised. I will check out Gtk 2.6 imediately and try not to waste any
more of your time!

until then i wont say anything more, except:

i'm using a buggy patch which seems to not know the correct size of the
file list. I'll have another look....
