probleme in printing

Hi all,

I have to face some problems in printing with gqview:

I have installe an Epson C82 printer with cups, and
when I print a picture, the output is really degarded.

In cups logs, I can read:
"[GIMP-PRINT]: detected broken job options.Output
quality is degarded. Are you using psnup or non-ASDC
Postscript ?"

Since I saw in sources that direct printing is using a
pipe in wich it sends a postscript file, I try to
print as ps file and to print the generated ps file ->
same problem.

In comand line, if I transform the ps file in pdf
(ps2pdf) and transform it back (pdf2ps), and print it
-> no more problem.


Finally , if I print as jpeg file and then print the
generated jpeg, no problem.

Can someone explain me why I can not print directly
(or from the ps file ) ?
