Hi, I've been using gqview for years (currently 2.1.2) and I think it's very good image browser. Recently I had started making digital photos and I felt lack of one functionality. For my pictures I would like to add comments (like "Place when I first time kissed Angela" ;) ), to be able to remember some things after years. It is possible with gqview (View -> Keyword [1]), but I would like to have more comfortable way to get (read) it while browsing. Sample solution. Displaying text of the comment under the picture. Height of the picture (and for hold its ratio also weight) would be reduced by one (or two) line(s) of the text (possible to configure by parameter) as a text or generated from text image. It should be displayed (if turned on) in "normal" and "full screen" view. Of course I don't know abilities of widget(s) you use, but I think it would be nice feature. [1] - I think that text in "Comment" windows (in Keyword frame) should be wrapped (currently there is a horizontal scrollbar).
