The inputs 1 to 4 are custom profiles you can use for the image, they are =

empty and not selectable until you assign a color profile to an input in =

preferences. Under the advanced tab, scroll down to "Color profiles", the =

file entry must point to a valid .icc Color Profile to be enabled in the me=
nu.

Images from the internet for display on a web page, and most consumer level =

digital cameras will use the sRGB color profile - no .icc file is needed.

The custom inputs are for when you have a color profile for the source of =

the image (scanner, camera, etc.). If the device does not use the default =

sRGB profile, then an .icc color profile is usually supplied with the =

device drivers that came with the device.

"Use profile from image" should be enabled so that if an image contains an =

embedded profile it will be used instead of the one you chose as the =

default input.

Changing any option in the color profile menu will automatically reload the =

image. Note that the color adjustment function takes time and is calculated =

after the image is completely loaded, so for larger images there will be a =

noticeable delay between when the image is first loaded and the color =

adjusted image is drawn.

If the image is in sRGB colorspace (or you select sRGB as the input) and =

your monitor is also set to sRGB there will be no change as they are the =

same. Additionally, if either the input or screen .icc file(s) you selected =

in the preferences window is corrupt or missing, color profiling can not =

function and will not be applied to the image.
