Info-display in Fullscreen display

Hi John & list,

Is there a way to display the file-info of a picture in gqview's 
fullscreen mode without keyboard-intervention? Reason is that I use 
gqview scripted to display a slideshow on a system without a 
mouse/keyboard. I'd like to see the filename of the picture displayed 
but can't seem to do so unless I hit "i" on the non-existing keyboard ;-)
