Glad to see you found the answer to this.

In GQview 2.1.5, directories can be renamed or deleted from their context 
(right click) menu.

The copy/move dialogs were single click in the distant past. But when the 
ability to rename/bookmark/delete files/folders was added to the dialog, 
the new features would not be easily accessible if single click had remained.
