Hi! Three months ago I bought a digital camera (Canon Ixus 500) and I discovered gqview. I've tried many different image browser for linux, but finally I settled with gqview, which I think is fantastic in terms of functionality and velocity (but definitely not the prettiest, but who cares!). As usual, when one gets to use a program very often, I have a feature request. My problem is that there are only 10 fields possible in the External Editors. I like this feature very much but I've run out of fields. There are only 10 fields possible (I'm using version 1.5.1, which I belive is the latest) and I would like to add some more (I'm aware that there will be a problem with the shortcut for these extra fields). I typically use the external editors feature to rotate (lossless) the images, call gimp, use jhead and jpegtran do do diverse things, extract the ISO information with exiftags (Canon stores the ISO in a non-standard way) and other things. Consequently, I would like to have more fields (maybe even be able to decide how many I do need). Bye, Ernesto. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
