Installation onto Embedded Linux

Hello all,

I have an old version of GQView (1.2.1) which cuts
picutres off when I run a slideshow. It is on an
Embedded Linux System called the Hybus X-Hyper255B
which is powered by the Intel PXA255 processor. This
software came with the filesystem that is currently on
the system. I would like to upgrade to GQView 1.4.4,
but I am not sure how to do this upgrade. I am running
Linux via Virtual PC on my PC, and using the minicom
program to access the embedded linux system. Any help
