Hi,
I have been using GQview for some years now, and it is still a personal
favourite for image viewing under GNOME. But there is one area that I
think it should be improved, and that is the speed of generating
thumbnails.
I archive my images in .png format, and it takes a considerable amount
of time for GQview to generate thumbnails for these files. I've tried
reducing the rendering size/quality, but the time it takes to read .png
files for thumbnail generation is still roughly the same. This is
starting to become an inconvenience as collections increase in quantity.
Please if you may look into this issue. In the age of digital cameras,
this issue will only compound further if unresolved.
Thank you in advance.
Best wishes,
