fwiw, in the bug template, a word is missing: "I confirm the issue is
still reproducible with the [latest] version of Midnight Commander".

is it possible to convert the PR template to a form as well?
it's _remarkable_ how many people don't delete the instruction text ...

i should clarify that i meant the migration.
come to think of it, i should not have asked about patches, but the
branch/commit links. these are already well-formed, so fundamentally
shouldn't pose a problem. in fact, it would seem to be only a small step
from what you already built, though i haven't thought through the
implications for the comment trails.
