Done (I think). File "mc.patch" with description: "Submitting per Yury 
V. Zaytsev <yury@…> request (in email) 20231008 - patch to mc.ext.ini 
file to enable .webp image file viewing" uploaded to 4490 in the Trac 
system.

FYI - there is a problem with the MC Trac system. I initially created my 
Trac account using my GMail email address. GMail did not accept the Trac 
"verify" email - that is, no email was delivered to my GMail inbox from 
the Trac system. I changed the mail to an ATT email and that was 
immediately successful. Thought you should know.

And, finally, since I know I'm emailing with an MC developer - I've been 
using computers for 30+ years, since the days of IBM PCs (years before 
Windows) when Norton Commander and PCTools (who had a similar 
application) were the apps one used. When I started using Linux (with 
Slackware 1.0, yes, really) I was delighted to find MC when it was 
released. I used mc for nearly 30 years on every *nix variant I've 
either owned (home) or worked on (including Solaris, AIX, and Linux - I 
am now retired after a 30-year IT career). My most grateful thanks to 
you and your fellow developers who keep it "running" in our modern 
computer world.
