Here at ArchLinux, with Kernel v6.7.1 and Fish 3.7.0 | Bash 5.2.21 shells, MC supports mouse events properly. Scrolls, Middle, Right and Left clicks all work well.
Especially, on Linux TERM. MC supports mouse events properly through GPM. (Which is amazing, right?)

There is a big BUT in my end, however. I don't know if WezTerm is a completely xterm compatible terminal emulator or not… But it's not known to Midnight Commander, anyway. So I'm invoking MC in WezTerm prepending a `TERM=xterm-256color` each time — actually with Shell alias.
So far so good for about two months, with no problems.
