I'll get a look at it. What about if there are two "modes" (or even two views), one that is group centric and one that is resource centric. Group centric = show groups as roots, with resources as children and assignments as grandchildren. If a resource is in two groups, it will appear under both those. Resource centric = show resources as roots and assignments as children. I didn't have time to think this through a lot, I just wanted to post it before I forgot about it.
