I don't know much about gnue, when looking at there site it looks somewhat over designed and getting a good look at what it is/supposed to be would require lots of work. If someone would be interested in looking into gnue and try to find ways to integrate gnue and MrProject somehow I'd be glad to hear about the conclusions that person came to.
