It possibly could.  I haven't used MrProject much yet (I've been installing
and testing too many would-be competing programs to get in-depth with any),
but wasn't sure if that would create any strange side-effects.

Out of curiosity, does MrProject support any coordination between seperate
project files?  For example, if I allocate a resource in one project, does
it attempt to block that resource in others?  If it doesn't, I think that
would be the biggest (maybe only) drawback to maintaining multiple project
files.

Honestly, I suspect that any level of reporting at all would probably be
sufficient for my needs, especially if you can choose fields to display, and
filter one one or two other fields.  Bonus points if the resulting report
can be imported into Gnucash - I can't overstate how cool it would be to
automatically update accounts receivable based on completed work.  :)
